Oliver Wyman has published its tenth annual outlook on wealth management, identifying ten trends it argues will shape strategic agendas across private banks and wealth managers in 2026.

The authors describe an industry heading into the year with solid balance sheets, but facing a step change in client expectations, intensified competition for adviser talent, and a widening gap between leaders and laggards on technology investment.

Themes range from the productisation of private markets and the maturing of evergreen vehicles, to the integration of generative AI into adviser workflows and the long-running re-platforming agenda.
